Autowatch car alarm

I have had this alarm fitted for about 3/4 years and never had any probems.

Last night apparently my car alarm went off from 11pm till early hours of the morning every 20 minutes. I park my car on the street as i dont have a drive and cant really hear the alarm unless you concentrate. I got to my car and a note was on it saying it was going off every 20 minutes.

Any ideas why? My light came on in the car when i started it which i must have left on as was checking for something that night. Could this have triggered it. I feel really bad for the neighbourhood lol. I think it's this one as it has that little control thing

Sounds like your interior light will have been to blame . I've done the same , left it on all night and the bloody alarm was going off all night , only done it the once mind lol

Failing that . A battery on the way out can also cause the alarm to go off . But sounds like the interior light will be the culprit .

ye thought it may be the light as its the first time i have ever left the interior light on and just seemed to happen that night. Will give my mobile number the the person who left the note to call me at night if it goes off lol as dont want it happening again if it aint cause of the light lol
