Aux belt DONE, Cam?

Hi, Ive just bought my 54' plate clio on 52K

Its had the AUX belt done but not the cambelt. Anyone have any ideas on price as i want to get it done? A) because it needs it B) Piece of mind!:approve:

Also any recommendations on where to have it carried out? Im in Leicester

You'd be wise to have the aux belt redone if your doing the cam belt done. As for price in total, less than £500.

Get the full aux kit done.

Mine didn't have it done with the cambelt kit (before I got it) and in the space of a few months I had water pump, PAS pump and alternator go. Can't call that a coincidence surely?

I for one wouldn't do the cambelt without changing the aux belt again anyway. I would do just a belt if the full kit has been recently changed though.
