my dad is 57 !!

and hes got a mk2 172 on a 52 plate in flame red, he loves every minute driving it, before he got it, he used to love giving my 16v a thrash.

so i think he must be the oldest ... so far !!!

Yeah, nobody thinks Im quite as old as I am and Ive just kinda stayed looking the same for the past few years (Peter Pan stylee), which is gonna be a good thing in a few years time when Im really old but dont look it!

Well I suppose Ill finish what I started, I cant believe how many early 20s drivers there are out there, it just goes to show that if people are prepared to pay 4 figures just for insurance, the 172 must be something special!!!

I wasnt paying 4 figures, it was just about £900 fully comp.. I never really saw the 172 as a special car, it was nice and fast but it was more of a cop-out for me as i couldnt find a decent williams!
