avi playback problems

using either windows media player 10-11 , VLC player and a few other ones, the colour is almost black and white. does anyone know what this problem is? starting to piss me off.

hard to know what problem is from description, but try to download a codec for what you wana watch. I have a prgram called g-spot tell s you exactly what codec is needed

got all of the correct codec's installed, being using g-spot for ages. files work fine on the laptop but just won't work on the computer.

yeah its pretty much every file! its very strange like.

have you updeated your video drivers lately? right click desktop> properties> settings> advanced> adapter > properties> driver then click update driver

if youve downloaded updates lately try rollback driver

yeah drivers are always updated. and rollback will not make a difference, there is nothing to rollback to lol

not sure m8 its hard like this cos i cant see whats going on. Its obviously something with your pc cos its a prob on all programs :/ try finding a different driver ive had probs like this with faulty drivers b4 they like to release drivers b4 theyre ready and worry bout probs later.
