Avic x1 vs tomtom navigation

As anyone used both of the above and which is the better unit?

I know there completely different .....But ive always used tomtom on mostly all my phones.

and now have the avic x1(not fitted yet)

is the pioneers system a better navigation system?

i have heard the tom tom is slightly better mate, but i still prefer the avic..

Overall the TomToms have a better interface and a few more features.

The pioneers are nice but expensive, maps arnt as much updated as the DVDs are only updated once a year and even then the teleatlas maps on them are a good time out of date.
