Avon, Federal or Yokohama

Need some tyres in 205/40R16 and I can only find the following...

Federal SS 595
Avon ZZ3
Marshal KU17
Yokohama Parada Spec-2

Anyone had any experience on a Clio? They will be going on my MK1 172. CTR owners swear by the feds!

The Avons are the cheapest unless anyone know anywhere else other than http://www.mytyres.co.ukwww.mytyres.co.uk ?

Erm i wouldnt use those yokos in the winter.

if you do i would write your insurance cos tel number on the roof.

Besides why the hell are you fitting 205/40s?

Get 195/45 or 205/45.

Because they are to big for a MK1 172...especially the 205/45s. I wanna reduce the diameter slightly from the 195/50R15s

I noticed quite a bit of difference between the 195/50R15 and the 195/45R16. Moving from a standstill...but particularly top end and I want to recify that.

Got some super leggera in 16"

Ive just had 16" laggera wheels and Yoko 195/45 tyres fitted to my MK2. Best thing I ever did. Million times better than the original Contis. Even in the wet.

Extra Note- the Yokos I had were A539.
