Back boxes??

ive already got a k&n generation2 induction kit which makes a hell of alot of noise (prob cos its for a 1.6!) but i want to make a bit more noise. would a back box make alot of noise? im not really after performance gains at this point. Any help?? cheers lads!

Yep....should make more noise if that's your cup of tea.

Certain brands are louder than others though due to bore size.

i had a universal custom chrome racing 'cherry bomb' on my mk1 1.2 with a k&n induction kit and that set off a couple of car alarms if thats the sort of 'LOUD' u were looking for?!

I have a custom twin exit exhaust done by powerflow, mines not in your face loud and sounds quite nice (IMO) There's powerflow places all over really.

Heard exhausts-uk ones are better though as they use a different grade of stainless steel? Might be wrong though.
