lol when I first got the 172 I was puzzled why it got like 50% more bugs than my old car, my dad suggested keeping under 120mph during the summer months would help
yes, i rarely get anyone bothering me unless I pull off a sly manouver, still get people staring and pointing at it, just yeserday I was at a petrol station and some guy came over and said what a nice car it was, I thought only V6 owners got that but it has happened to me a few times now!
As for flies, mine definitely attracts them and also my windscreen is a stone magnet!!!!!
hummm flys.... little b******s! my car is worse than hitler for exterminating the little sods!
I spent all day cleaning my car on sat for trax thinking ill give it a little wipe when we get there.... yeah right
By the time we got to trax i had 146, yes i had plenty of time to sit and count them, 146 dead little and big things alover the front, so i thought ah f**k it, im not going to clean it now i cant be bothered!
i hit one bug the size of your thumb at 110 / 120 with the door piller and it exploaded like a grenade! all over the windscreen, the passenger window, the back passewnger window every where!

Dam flys!
Has anyone used a good fly remover? I found I had marked my bonnet slightly trying to remove one of the little buggers with Turtle Wax Bug remover wipes...

Ive tried everything else so Ill give it a go! I think the black paintwork gets very hot and turns the flys guts into some sort of heat activated epoxy superglue...
Hummm, I think youre dead right...happens to mine too lol.
Spooky , just pmd Dave 182 saying how hard the flies are to get off my 182 in Racing Blue. Leaves very black, very stubborn marks all over the front end and mirrors.
It comes in an orange spray like most Gunk products and is the best bar none that Ive tried, would highly recommend. You just spray it, foams up, leave for 5 mins and wipe off.
