Bad day + 'ghetto' styling lol

Woke up this morning only for my car not to start, though it would be a simple jump start but when I lifted the bonnet I noticed just how bodged the battery was in my car. Basically the thread on top of the positive terminal was just kind of stuck on with some sort of orange glue. It was barely touching the terminal so the connection was awful. Luckily, I got a battery terminal clamp with my wiring kit. 30mins later, and with very little room to work in I got this sorted >

The connection now is much more solid and the voltmeter on my amp is constantly giving a higher figure.

As I'd removed the positive terminal, I needed to re-enter the code for my stereo. Unfortunately, this has to be done via my remote control which at first I couldn't find, then when it appeared the battery was flat. Popped down the local motor parts shop and got a new one after having to break all the clips on the remote to get it open.

Whilst I was out I thought I'd give my tyre pressures out, only to find this >

Off down the garage to see if it could be fixed, but the screw had gone in too close to the sidewall for them to do anything. Unfortunately I'm a skint student and can't afford to get it replaced atm. The result is this >

Caramel - I was thinking about ph2s, and I'm sure they would look really good, but there's just something about the black lights that I like on my car.

Racing182 - 172 style skirts would definately look better but I just don't have the cash to change them

EvilJohn - My splitter would be pushing up the daisies (pun intended lol)

When I was fitting the steelies the back ones were ifne but the front ones just didn't seem to sit right, and now when I get above 30mph the car shakes all over the place :S

EvilJohn is the any sort of spacer behind your front wheels as mine just on't wana sit flush against the hub?

Cheers mate, I'll have to get out and jack the car up again and check them out. At worst, I'm going to have to put my alloys back on the front

Sorted it now anyway, was just a case of needing a couple of pairs of hands to position the wheel correctly whilst bolting it back on. I can't wait to get rid of my car now, I've loved owning it and its been great, just the usual little Renault niggles let it down.

Roll on the summer when I can afford to sell her on :approve:
