Bad earth????

When I press my brakes the rear foglight symbol on the dash flickers for a few seconds and then goes out. Not 100% sure if the rear fogs themselves come on as I need someone behind to check. Any ideas??

Moisture in the rear lights causing it to track across. Very common.

yup had same thing happen to mine, had sidelights on and when pressed brake pedal was going dimmer, was the light unit itself just got moisture inside,
couldn't see any broken contacts but is best to just replace them

clean out the connections in the rear lights.

Cool, I will try cleaning out all the connections on the rear lights tomo. Cheers........
