Bad Luck Continues

  172 Silver Cup
A few weeks ago I was fitting new wiper blades when the arm flew down and cracked the windscreen. Not so bad I bet your thinking but I am not covered on my insurance! Great!! Now just noticed a headlight gone! All the money I wanted to spend on mods I am now gonna have to fork out on these bits!

Can you not add windscreen cover? You'll be surprised at the cost of a new one! ;)

It's an ar*e when stuff like this happens.:( Any other bad luck occuring in your life elsewhere?

yeh only my second car so tpft. I could add it, but seems a bit cheeky a month down the line saying it has gone, think they might figure! As to the personal life its all good, work is good and health and all that is good so shouldnt grumble! How much for a pair of bulbs? Bugger to fit too arent they??

Halfords 50 or 90% brighter ones, about £20 when i replaced them recently ... but they are BOGOF most of the time !!

They are easy enough to replace. Its just a case of unclip wiring, and twist bulb out of socket. I did mine in the dark so it can't be that hard ;-)

Unless you have the hands of a small child, you're screwed! Lol. Took me ages with my big spade hands! :clown:

Unlucky about the windscreen! I always nearly do the same thing but manage just to catch the wiper before it hits the screen!

even with windscreen cover you still pay about £70 excess (depending on insurance company) - still cheaper than a new screen though
