While I've never used this company, I will say that they are a really nice bunch of people. I'm very surprised at Simons poor car, but I'm sure the guys in question will sort it... I'll be amazed if they won't/don't.

To have a wireless streamline it's £35/month + 2% on each transaction. All of my customers are happy with cash..

Change banks then. I'm changing again in the new year. Barclays have offered me an amazing deal!

(Not all of your customers are happy with cash, which Is why I quoted you and commented mate)

So what company was it Si, looking at getting one in the new year, and obviously want to avoid with a bargepole.

I see the place still has the Mx-5 I was looking at, but way too strong money now.

It was the place selling the expensive red mk1. TBH as Ste. says they are nice people but now I am not sure about their quality of work :/

Guess I'll find out after they have tried to sort it out...

Just dropped it in this morning to fix this.

I've been over a month now without a car radio!

Just been to pick it up now....

And well, have they done what I asked, no they haven't. They tried to blame me for it and then after that didn't work claimed I didnt give them clear instructions, after refusing to let me show them what was wrong this morning.

Boils my piss the cheek of some people.

They literally left me with a live and an earth which I was expected to wire in... no f**k off you broke it you fix it.

The wiring for the speakers only had 2 pairs connected, not all 4! that are required when you have 4 speakers.

Yeah they do seem like nice people!

The bloke in charge, Chris, couldn't even be bothered to look at the pictures I emailed them before Christmas.

Can't you speak to the girl who works there? Can't remember her name but she always seemed pretty helpful.

I've told them exactly what to do and left it with them again, so hopefully I shouldn't need to.

Thanks for the offer mate, but I can sort it myself if they can't be bothered.

I know I've got the rewire my clock in as a live and earth is too hard for them...

I've recieved my car back today and I'm pleased to say at first sight it seems to be sorted.

But I've recieved 3 PM's on MX5Nutz telling me about BroadspeedMX5's poor work.

Just got this reply from Broadspeed when they found my threads on MX5Nutz! Brilliant.

In response to “sbridgey” concerns we would like to take this opportunity to apologise to him for any problems he feels we may have contributed to and not already rectified. It is not in our interests to cause slander or defamation of character.
We would like to wish him all the very best on his new venture, we understand via his social media site that he has been given an interview to appear on The Apprentice 2014 programme, which we would like to pass on our congratulations! sbridgey states “watch this space”, we certainly will be but all we can hear is the immortal words of Sir Alan sugar, “sbridgey your fired!”
We can only wish him well and hope the only honest outcome of the posts he has made is that he will not be returning for our services in the future.

Just to finish this thread off i have finally had chance to check out my wiring as i have now finished uni, i decided to remove all of the old connectors and replace them with solder and heat shrink connections.

I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

And this is what it was beginning to look like after I was done, ignore the yellow cable, that was also sorted.

Soldering isn't recommended for cars, you can get really thin through crimps which are more suited
