bad vibrations



  clio 172 sport
hi i installed a polly rear engine mount on my clio 172 as when i acselerated hard in 1st and second it made a weired clonking noise and noticed in here that other people have had the same problem. the clonking has gone but there is a bad vibration when sitting ticking over just wondered has any 1 got any ideas?

rubber mounts are there to absorb vibration, you have removed one and replaced it with something that doesnt absorb it as well, you will get more vibration at idle and when driving.

better of just replacing them with a new genuine renault one every once in a while
