Badge removal from tailgate

  Golf GT & A4 Avant
Hair dryer to warm up the glue and make it soft. You should be able to pull it off then. Soak a MF in tar and glue remover and leave over the remaining sticky pad left on the panel for a few minutes and it should be ready to start coming off

I just used Auto Glym tar remover when I removed my Renault Sport badge,
I pulled the top of the badge towards me and poured a load down the back until it came off,
then I used some more to wipe the crap off the back and job done.

No heat or hairdryer needed at all.

probably get slated for this but on the cars I have removed badges off I used nail polish remover to get the sticky stuff off
