Bailey Header tank anyone?

yes. undo the jubilee clips and do them back up.

if you have got a big syringe or something else that you can suck the water out of the tank first it saves you having to drain the system etc - then just top it up once connected. I put the original clips back on - the push together type - were quite difficult coz the ends of the bailey tank where the water pipes go on are quite big but managed it eventually.

they are the ones - use mole grips and keep tightening the bloody things

yeah I struggled doing a head job on my valver without the proper tool, took me an hour to get the bottom rad hose clip off (I took the rad out). my dad bought the tool that he'd lost the next week

i didnt know there was a proper tool - what are they called or look like - one to add to the collection me thinks

they are a plier type handle with a cable and a compressor at the end, brill little tool!

the black bit on the end has a bar that slides down when you pull the cable.
