ball joint question

I ordered these from Northwest Performance just wondering should there be a difference in left/right I didn't think there would be but one looks as if its not machined right:S

I have not removed mine yet so don't know

Both should be exactly the same as far as I know. I replaced mine a couple of months back.

The ball joint's aren't handed so they should be 2x of the same part.

so its a case of send the rough looking one back?

Yup and await replacement.

I bought mine from here and they're definitely not handed.

Whats happened there? :S They should be like the second pic.

i may be wrong but the ball joint in pictures 1 and 3 looks like it will be fine. the ball joint in pictures 2 and 4 looks like it is too long under the pinch bolt groove.

They both with fit as they are the same part number but it looks like they changed the design without telling us.
