ball joints question

Hi, ive been advised to get a new ball joint on the passengers side of my 1.2 16v clio, just had a look on euro car parts for one, an two come up, does anyone know if its just a bolt on or do i need the whole new lower arm?

They bolt on - it's the 10mm one for non-sports.

Check your wishbone bushes though, 'cos if they're on the way out it's easier to just swap the arm while it's all in bits any way.

What about for the sports?

12mm for the sports, they are the same, just bigger.

i would agree as wishbones could be in similar condition.
