Bargain track toy - Clio 172

sounds dodgy as hell, how can it be sold as a 172 when the log book would say it's a 1.2?

This car is basically a 2002 52 plate Renault Clio 172 Sport
The clue is right there, hes not saying its a 172 but it basically is a 172 in everything but name on the plates etc

I'd say a track day special or break it up for parts.

I'd say 172 that you can tax as a 1.2 like batman's. Unique Colour, sunroof, cheap for someone who wants a fast car on a budget and isn't bothered about getting cash back

if the log book isn't correct (which it won't be unless it's been reclassified) the insurance will be invalid. Not too bad as it's only £2k but if you run into a high end merc, that's your house gone :(

mine is on the logobook as a 2.0, been to dvla and the tax code doesnt change so its all legit but i still pay £115 a year for tax plus my insurance its a clio 1.2 with a reno 2.0 engine in it so it isnt anywere near group 16!

haha bodgery FTW!
