There are always cheap ones - usually for a very good reason.

Mind you the price will always have to drop as the car gets older - you can get the original 172s pretty cheap now.

simple, dont sell!

Willimas prices dont go down because they get older, they go down because the cars become piles of sh*t when people dont look after them. IMO a mint Williams, is worth more than a cup / 172 and almost as much as a 182. Now thats a good residual value if you ask me.

You dont know, but that one with 58,000 for 3200 could need a cam belt, drive shaft boot, etc etc. You just dont know until you see the history or car. Milage doesnt mean much on a williams. Problems tend to be more age related.

mines gunna be worth fuk all wen i sell it........cos im not gunna fukkin sell it lol

scrap yard or parts bin is where mines gunna end up wen iv finished with it i reckon

Agree with Stromba on the "age, not mileage" point.

My Williams with 59k on the clock is having loads of attention that I gave my Valver when it was over 100k.

The guy could be genuinely selling a low mileage mint Williams for £3,200, but I reckon theres something well suspect about it. Id imagine though that someone who had the wheels refurbished would have the knowledge that it is worth more than that.

I think that the rule still stands that youve got to spend a fair bit for a good Williams unless youre lucky enough to find someone selling one for silly money. I spent a good six weeks looking solidly at "mint" Williams - most of which were dogs and needed a lot of work. Luckily, Id had a 16V before so knew what to expect, but many would have bought the ones I rejected without spotting the major flaws I saw.
