*Bast*rd Scratched My Car Up*

  don't

yea thats right, the poor rsi is taking a beating lately

the rear drivers side quarter has about 5 scratches going from arch area towards the door :-(

quite deep, 2 deep for t-cut so ive used touch up paint for now, cant really notice it now unless u look for them!! although colour isnt a complete match

how did it happen?

well thats the stupid thing, it was a b*****d WALL that did it :-(

i recently moved, and now have to park awkwardly, having 2 reverse in making sure front corner doesnt hit a wall, and making sure rear doesnt hit the house, right pain in the arse

anyway i was tired and thought the scrape sound was the centre box scraping again but no it was the rear quarter :-( stupidity really! so i spent yesterday in the cold and wintery weather touching it up outside the g/fs house

course of action, sensor light going up soon so i can see in the dark better, wall being knocked down thats in the way

also at moment im not reversing up a kerb to park easier, now it cant be gd going up and down kerbs, what can i do 2 make a slight ramp so its not a90 degree angle, bearing in mind its on2 the road, i dont want 2 keep removing it and stuff so it needs to be like a permanent ramp thing

thinking of some cement there to build up a slight ramp, i know its illegal but frankly i dont care

Thanks

when going up the kerb i roll slowly back on2 it, then have 2 rev car 2 bump up kerb, then do same with the front wheels, trying 2 minimise the bump as much as possible, can it do damage going up the kerb on a daily basis

might try 2 source some wood i could lay next to the kerb, then think of a way 2 have it secure

I think it is expensive, well our council it is anyway. It costs bout £800 i think, cos its gonna be 2 days work!

Gutted for ya bout ya car mate. Id get they light up as soon as.

hmm thought about council but cant be arsed to wait 4 ages, want it done asap really

so might diy it, seeing as i wont be living there for over 12 months i dont care if it crumbles in the end or anoys ppl

have done some bits with concrete and cement before so tempted to make a mix and make a lil mound up to the kerb, just 2 smooth it a bit so its not a 90 degree angle, that or a piece of wood there but not sure what would hold it in place really unless i drilled it in2 the kerb lol

either that or carry on as i am and reverse slowly up the kerb blocking the road while doing so then waking ppl up as i rev the car 2 get front wheels up

  500bhp Scoob

a chap down the road from me lowered his kerb on his own, and got sued because of it.

He had to pay out for all the court costs, and the fine, plus he had to pay to get a proper dropped kerb put in

Definately not worth the risk
