The 306 wouldn't start yesterday, flat battery. It's been a bit dodgy since I got it.
So after jumping it, I tested if the alternator was charging it, and it was about 14.5v across the battery when running, even with everything electrical in the car turned on, so presumed it must be the battery.
After having no choice than paying halfords prices (£89.99 for diesel battery) it's all going ok now. Although my wallet isn't.
Can you recycle the old batteries? They're full of lead so must be worth something?
