Batteries

  172
Are lightweight batteries the preserve of race car/extreme track cars?

Or can they work with a road car and power all the standard sport features at the same time?

I like the idea of saving around 10kg but not sure where to start/where to look.

I would probably mount in its original place.

I'm tempted with a odyssey 25 for the track car but Merlin recommended the 30 for my car that has air con (but not used) xenons etc but it is £50 more expensive, I may just get the 25 and risk it, the car is either being driven or when its not its on a maintainer anyway so should be fine, I have seen them fitted to R26's so should be ok in the 182

I have a Varley 25 fitted to my 172 (no AC) but xenons etc and works fine.
