Hi there everyone. The car is going in on tuesday for a new battery, just wondered, I was having problems starting the car the last few weeks, car would not start unless i opened the bonnet and fiddled with the battery wires, now the mechanic told me it needed a new battery, surely, if the battery was flat, it would not start at all! even fiddling with the wires, is this correct and are they just trying to get me to buy a new battery? I still think it's the connections on the battery. Cheers, Chris.
