battery goosed

  Yozza'd Titanium 182
after time trial and error i have figured out that it is one of two things that is draining my battery

1.) a bad earth on my amp
2.) my amps goosed

my earthing point hasnt changed in 3 months tho....

is it possible to be my amp?

so you've traced it to be the amp draining your battery?

is the head unit switching it off?

not going to be the bad earth

the amp has been disconected for about 5 days and i havnt had a problem....
theres nothing wrong with the cd player and it fires up spot on every time

so i know its either a bad earth or the amps had it

I knew as soon as I saw the word 'goosed', I knew this would be one of your threads, I think you're the only person that uses the word.

does the amp still work ok? also have you checked the remote and power lead to the amp?

it shouldnt be a bad earth as it shouldnt drain unless the something is switched on.

amp sounds like it could of had it.

as i asked the cd player might fire up fine but if it doesn't switch of the 12v remote the amp will not switch off thus drain the battery

the amp may drain your battery anyway as there is capacitors
