previously not had any issues, car sat for a few mo the and alternator seized solid, replaced with brand new alternator and aux belt kit. Jump started and car was running sweet as a nut. Drove it for an hour with no issues, stopped at petrol station, flat as a pancake.
so the alternator is generating enough power to run the car and all systems but it's not charging the battery which is only a few years old and was previously very strong.
I'm thinking the battery has been killed when it went flat being off the road? Reluctant to replace it until I can confirm it
