Battery ???

seems to be losing volts only holding at 7.3 thought they normally charge around 12v ??

been noticing the car is juddering when in traffic too

any ideas , i thought it may be the alternator ???

what does it read when car is idle mate? 7.3?

it should be above 12v when idle, otherwise alty may be faulty.

7.3 hasnt broke down yet done the same thing a few years ago i just replaced the battery , just got the feeling its something else !?

How much for a new alternator and fitting ?? anyone ?

with the car running it should show around 14volts to show its charging.
