Hi guys
I'm gauging interest in a BBQ meet and Photo shoot event at North Weald Airfield in the future.
During a recent visit I got talking to the guys who run the Wings Cafe. They also organize meets for car clubs and bike clubs.
They have very reasonable prices for running events.
Unlike incidents of the past this will be a proper organised event with no issues in parking or gaining access to the airfield.
The event would include a DJ, Areas to park vehicles and the use of the Cafe and BBQ area.
Also classic aircraft would be available for a backdrop for pictures.
The event would ideally be held on a Sunday from about midday till 5pm .
I'm sure we could also tempt some traders to bring along some merchandise too.

Would this be something that you all would be interested in participating in?
Also for those who hold their PPL and have access to aircraft there would be scope for you to fly in to the event.
