the yellow one looks gorgeous!!! love that colour! thats the ones!!
just finding the £400 an alloy to get them!
wot wud be best?

17 x 7.5 all round or 17 x 7.5(front) and 17 x 8(rear)?

Thats 8x17 rear and front to with 215/35 R 17 Dunlop SP9000. Offset 35mm i mean.

You can buy from elia for example. http://gateway.selltec.com/go/elia/($zq51Gpm42b3MWRhxW35bTC$)/s,showModuleObject,9_q1klWYtB,cxW0_xm1oxa1_xC1mxGZpNG2,4Fa0jtW3hxW2nB,8xa0nVX0_JH,8lW-jJnLDlUSPJnVcVWZgNrLtAnNk5DOqwVMkA,nB,9VG,hxGZplWZnxC1mxGZpNG2nxmY6RXZbxa1dVq1jMG0dxaMjMETJx9MX6WZ_lq1.html

This blue one has 9x16 rear and frontside with 215/35 R 16. And the black one 8x15 with 195/45 R 15.

My one is the silver clio. I have got 7,5*16 Ofset 15 frontside with 195/40 DunlopSP 9000 and rear 9x16 Ofset 20 with 215/35

nice, does it mess up the handling at all? i no there will be differences with 17s to 16s but wil the wider wheel make the handling better/worse?
i like the silver one! looks smart!

Thats an hard question and not easy to explain for me in english.

I mean optimal for trackday is an 7x16" wheel with an 215/40 R 16 tire. Or a 215/50 R 15 on a 15" rim. The area of threshold is much wider as an 215/35 R17 tire on an 17 " wheel.

The 215/40 tire give you an earlier feedback when your car is reaching the his sticking point.

If the 215/35 squeal it is nearly for your car to break out.

But i think the 215/35 looks much better. I mean Sirius, the owner of the yelow one, means too. In Germany we have not often possibility to drive on track because its much expensive and wide to drive. For us from Nürnberg to Nürburgring there are round about 600km one way. But this year i will drive on Nürburgring.

In normal road trafic i cant note an worsening of Handling. But for track its harder to drive.

So i hope you understand my baaaad english :o

i understood it! thanks, i think ill go for the 17s then keep my Turini for track days! they do look really nice, i like the chrome look ones!

was my birthday yesterday so go some money and with some more that i saved was tempted to spend it on my car!

Here are some better pics from my car with the 17x8's ASA Ypsilon (licence by BBS), they drive good and steering is even nearly as good as the former Renault Alloys.

BBS LM wheels are extremely expensive, i have a set of 17/18s which cost as much as a Clio. They aren't for road use either.
