Beading pics

  Skoda Fabia vRS
been a while since ive had any beading worth taking any pics of lol, cant find the time to do the car properly lately, its been getting a quick going over with SRP just so its got some kind of protection etc on

my rear spoiler and rear bumper have recently been resprayed about 3 weeks ago, the paint should have fully cured by now so i got out the HD cleanse and Zymol Carbon, shame it never lasts very long

took the pics with my phone on macro mode, cropped a few close ups aswell lol

With me, probably once a month I add another layer, but mainly because the waxes that I use don't last that long. Will re polish it every couple of months/6 months.

Oh ok, i gave my car a full detail about 3 weeks ago and put two layers of P222 wax when i detailed it. then the other day i put another layer on. I didnt want the beading to disipear lol
Have you had any experiance with P222 wax? how ofter should i rewax her?

Lol @ P222. You mean R222 which was originally called P21S :) The name is so pointless as well, bloody yanks ;)

Yes I use it on my windows and lights. I find it a very good wax, again rewax it every month or so, can be longer.

 i just went outside and looked at the tub. I'v been calling it P222 for about...9 months lol.
So is the wax better on the windows than something like RainX?
Also do you use any sort of brush to get the badges clean? Or use on the wheels?

Lol, tell me about it, I got so confused when I saw that to re-order (ended up getting it from an American site called Autopia, purely for some other things as well )

It's not better or worse on other surfaces, I just prefer other waxes on other my paint :)

I don't like rain x, people have had such mixed reviews. I know this works.

There are hundreds of brushes really, but to give you an idea I have 2x Megs side lock brushes; one dry for dust, one wet for aggitating cleaners, such as around badges and in door shuts etc.

Wheels wise, I have a megs soft brush for behind, a very old horse hair one for face and spokes and an older mitt for the rest.

Ok, well i'l give the windows a little wax and see how that is.

One last question. I detailed my wheels a while back. took them off washed clayed polished and then put 3 layers of poorboys wheel sealant. How long does that last on your wheels?

yup just a shame i know they wont last, it will end up with Collinite on it as i know it will last, or maybe some CarLack 68 LLS
