got this off ebay...its fits but the radio reception is now crap

what do i do?

buy a better aerial would be the best bet. try get one from a car and not an aftermarket one. you could email the seller and tell him that the reception is really bad and you might be lucky if he gives you a refund. ive got a mk2 ph1 and i cut my aerial down and sealed the top end and it looks better and still has a decent reception!

at £1.45 for an aeriel, you'd probably get better reception with a coat-hanger!

buy a better aeriel, simple.

pull the plastic cap thingy off the end of your original one, cut the aeriel in half with a hack saw, put cap back on. easy takes 2 minutes
