Been to test drive a 182 today in crewe LK55PAO

It's for a mate, they gave him a good trade in value for his mini and knocked a grand off it nearly without even trying!

Only thing was missing the cup splitter.

Is that because it didn't have the Cup spoiler pack? (I could be mistaken but the rear spoiler looks smaller than the one on mine)

I should think you'd easily be able to get them down to £7k.
Cars aren't exactly flying off the forecourts these days so I'm told.

Has the rear spoiler, they did they gave him money off before even trying to barter.

Its a nice Example, and with low milage. But even with a Grand off, i think its well over Priced. You can pick them up with low milage for about £5000 these days.

You say that, but the ones we look at out always iffy and you always pay more from a dealer.

I paid that for mine back in march with 26000 on the clock .

tell your mate to get it before someone else does;)

I couldn't recommend this enough! its absolutely spotless inside and out, its what i got the recaros from. The paintwork is tip top and not 1 mark anywhere on the car, wheels are perfect also.

Its got the standard seats in now so get your mate you make him an offer

Interesting: the rear seats must have been placed by him or the Recaros were because if you picked the Recaros as an option you got the cup bench seat and tackier interior.

Recaros came with the car from new so i guess the previous owner replaced the rear bench. It has the trophy door card fabrics

I very much doubt one with 12.5k miles from a dealer though! If it's at £6999 that's a good price.

Yep, I think that car is definitely worth a punt. Tell your mate to go for it.

Although this takes the piss: "All vehicles purchased are subject to a £50 admin fee."

I'de say it over priced. There are plenty more good examples out there for a cheaper price with that milage.

I picked my BG 182 with Cup Packs up for £5,200 with 40,000 on the clock and with the cambelt done.

Find me a trophy for £7k with 12.5k on it and they' take mini in part ex and offer warranty on the car.

I reckon £6,999, with a good trade in price, from a renault dealer is pretty good for 55 plate with 12k on the clock.

See if he can get a couple of hundred more of of free service and it's a good buy.

It's already been serviced by them so it's ready to go.

Car has been there nearly 2 months though

(asuming they serviced it when they got it)

1 owner to.

Yeah was from a trade dealer in Gatwick.

£1800 difference?? Has the price been knocked down from £7990 then?

Just the car on your first post is advertised at £7990, my 182 cost me £5200 which is £2790 difference for 30k more miles and a year older :S

As a comparison, just before xmas i brought my 55 RB 182 Cup with Recarros, 10.5K miles from a dealer(traded in my old MG ZR) for £6800.

The Renault dealer I bought mine off said it's to cover HPI checks on the car being sold and bought (cheeky really as I was happy to buy the car off them it's their choice to HPI my car. Plus trader use of HPI costs a few quid for an individual car) but they waived it (but it's in the price you pay somewhere anyway!).

Dr Rollo, I work just up the road and have had a quick look round it when i went to get a part, its a tidy motor. Holdcroft Renault at Crewe are shite though, I've only taken my clio there once and never again!!

Yeah that's a decent price from a dealer for such a low mileage car!

As a note, I got offered £6k trade in for mine last week!
