belgium clean/ carbon mk2

Car  clio 1.4 16V
hello my name is geoffrey and after a year on the forum it's time to post my project . i have had a clio mk2 1.2 for over a year and modded it in an extreme style but then some jackass loved my rear end so much he dicided to total the car
. 181168_481672065182987_948508580_n.webp293226_491178610898999_491434306_n.webp

then i chose to buy another mk2 cause ive now had spare parts for touch ups .so looked around and bought an 2002 mk2 1.4 16 v with 75000 km's on the clock in november 2012. i said i wasn't gonna mod it but i have got the bug so after 2 weeks i have started . 3 months later the car had :

-carbon hood
-kw v2 suspension
-lenso bsx wheels 7.5 and 9 inch wide at the rear
-3.5 degrees of camber in the rear and a little bit at the front
- clear style rear lights
- mk3 steering wheel (non sport)
-carbon dash strips
- carbon gearstick insert
- recaro trendlines but i'm in the proces of putting the rear of the seats in carbon fiber
- de wiper
- sprint booster ( makes the lag of the electronic gas pedal go away)
- 172 door cards en rear bench
- stickers on some places
-custom gearstick surround in real carbon and leather
- us style indicators / silvervisions ( they burn constant )
- xenons in headlights 8000 k and fog lights 10000 k
-k&n panel filter
- special campus phaselift bumpers ( front and rear)only found in france
- and some odds en ends
- made the rear wheel arches a bit wider for the big wheels

to do list for te upcomming weeks are:
-completly remove bullets
-respray heart of the wheels
-full car wrap
-more carbon

pic are from the car over the last months . still waiting for the snow and salt on the roads to go away for some of the parts to go and take complete pictures

thanks my with my old car i started tuning with my only idea of tuning was the fast and the furious but now did some meets and found a style i realy like and is more of this age

Have you done anything to the interior yet?

The Carbon gear stick surround looked nice.

some carbon bits and a 172 interiour that has seen better days but i'm in the proces of making 2 carbon backs for a couple recaro trendlines that i've bought and will be upholstered with the trophy fabric

Wasn't sure on your new project when I saw the first pictures.. But you've actually done a very good job with it so far!

after a LOT and i do mean a LOT of problems with the bumpers they are finaly wrapped and put on the car together with an espace lip (2 cm ground clearance in front)
rear bumper is also ready
some on here will have to look a couple of times but this is an accual renault bumper
also mounted some sport replica side skirts UPSIDE-DOWN for more low and a diffirent look

the diamond in the front i have a little plan for . measured this weekend and it's plus minus the size of a 197 diamond so mailed up streamline and a carbon one is under way soon :)

thanks for the good reply's was a bit off a gamble with the bumpers but after all the problems i had with them i really like them and never seen a (heavely)modded clio with those on

One thing I would recommend is getting a smooth wiper blank, would look spot on with the whole smooth look you've got going on! Then you could wrap it the same colour as your car. Would look mint :-)

Here's mine to give you an idea

nice car mate i like what you have done also for some reason like the front bumper even though i normally hate after market ones lol

got some bad news . broke down with the clio fridaynight . went to a carmeet and when i was driving home after half a km the engine just started to shake a lot more then usual en giving a pop in the exhaust once a while
no fault lights comming up on the dash so i'm thinking in the direction off lambda sensor . going to the garage monday for a readout and a sensor live reading :(

clio is on the road again . problem was the trottle body gasket had a very little leak in it
then broke down again with a dead battery then the torsion bar rubbers snapped and then a punctured tire ( little bit to much problems lately)
updates again ( battery cover satin black and omp strut brace (black) and 4 new tires and a carbon front logo ( streamline)

now prepping everything this week for a trip to the uk !!!!!FCS!!!! with the gang of FRENCHWORXX

To OP I know this is a dead thread and all and you may have moved away from the car however, I just wanted to know how you got the U.S. Style indicators to work as I want to do the same but cannot figure out how too.

Many thanks in advance
Ozzy
