Belt Noise??

Ive had the Cambelt done inc Water Pump in November (2013) and recently everytime i go to start up theres an Audible Squeak coming from that general area for a short period of time...aswell as that ive spent quite a bit to repair other problems to rectify the s**t life the previous owner gave it . however with all the money spent on it, is this anything to be worried about as i dont want any snapping of anything belt related

Probz the pas pump. Most of em do it for a few seconds on startup

Actually if its a squeak not a whine then it could be the aux kit needs changing if that wasn't done with can belt. The tensioners are known for seizing up

Excuse me if im being a mong but what components does the Aux Belt run?, and what would happen if it was to fail?

Alternator, powersteering , waterpump and aircon if fitted

And if it fails it usually takes out the cam belt with it.
