Belts

I have a high pitched squeak coming from the left handside of the engine when the engine revs move from 5500 - 6500! Any advice on when belts need changing or ways to check for wear - Just reached 42,000. thanks.

Ok so this thread clearly hasn't caught your attention. But someone must have some advice about when the cambelt and timing belt should be replaced

Cambelt needs to be done every 5 years or 72k miles.

Aux belt should of been changed at 36k, it sounds like the aux belt is slipping at high revs, if you havnt changed it yet, this is the likely cause, due to the fact that they stretch over time

Sounds like the aux belt as said needs chnaging.
