Bent Sub Frame!!

I put my new alloys on me car and noticed that te front right wheel was rubbing, so i checked it out and it was sitting to far back in the arch. Got a mechanic to look at it and the f*cking subframe is bent! I cant believe it, they reckon its gonna be about £1000. I was told it probably happened by me hitting a pothole!

1.4rt. Well it could have been already like that when i got it in september but i wouldnt have known if i hadnt put the alloys on.

I bent my sub frame trying to avoid going up the arse of someone by steering into a kerb on black ice.

Cost me...............................160.00stg plus me and my dad fitted it.

valver is harder to do. rt might be easy enough to do

Wasnt too hard to do but bodkit bumper was a c*nt to work around as we didnt wanna take it off.

Had to use an engine hoist to hold engine while we dropped frame out as well. Gear linkeage had to be removed i think i might still have a bent wishbone still though but i aint sure

Had mine done for 600 last month, now im spending similar money on a new steering rack

Try and sue the council for the pot hole, its worth a go

i bent mine hiting a kerb when i spun it!! 70 quid for 1 aff a breakers!!

100 to get it fitted!!

1000 qiud - ha ha ha ha ha - i wudnt pay 1000 for the bloody clio in the first place - u can deffo get a sub frame for less than that.

I had a taxi go into the side of my Rover 200 Vi a few years back. My insurance company wrote it off as it was shaped like a banana according to the repair place. It looked like an easy repair to me, but they pointed out that the frame was bent as the front wing linings no longer met up with the wings!! Must have been an expensive repair as they were happy to cough up £7k to me

A little more severe me thinks!

I was thinking a grand was a little pricey, I reckon its been bent for some time cos the inside of the old front right tyre is almost bald!

Mines bent rom hittinmg a curb, where can i get one from, for less than 1K lol. There are no clios in the breakers round hear. need one asap cause wanna get my wheels sorted.

Ive f**ked my subframe twice, you can get hold of a second hand one for around £100 but fitting it costs about £300+ because of all the work involved
