Best 10" Sub for under £100

  Alfa 147 GTA
As title

I'll be using a JBL 75.4 amp, with 2 channels bridged to 284rms at 4oms and the other 2 channels powering my rainbow comps.

I'll be using it in a sealed enclosure, mainly listening to dance music. Can anyone suggest a decent sub for under £100?

Cheers :D

Cheers guys,

The JBL amp suggested is rated at 400w rms nominal power, will the amp be powerful enough to run that?

And also the RE sub is only rated at 175w, is there a danger of the amp being too powerful?

Baring in mind i dont have my music particulary loud, but i dont want it to die if i do crank it up :approve:

Thanks

It doesnt matter what power you put in it really try and match the rating with the rating of the amp. e.g 400wmrs sub, 400wrms amp.

Some of the manufacturers figures lie, im using 4x 12w3v2 Jl subs in my BMW, they are rated at 250wrms i think, im running around 800wrms into each and no problems.

Hope this helps
