Best 195/45/16 track tyre??

Car  Weeman sucks ****
Prefferably road legal but not essential and not stupid money. What are your thoughts and recomendations?

Interested in this also.

I have some 172 alloys that have the above sized tyres on. Would the 205 wide cast off's my 182 fit these rims?

Steve

Yeah 205's fit but they also rip my arches off as I'm on coilovers. So I'll have to stick with the standard 195's. Although Yokoham do a 205/40/16 parada which GBLeo runs OK.

Maybe those??

Well for what its worth i can't fauly my 205/40 paradas but never tracked them

Whats you limit for a set of 4... £300?

well i don't want to pay more than 90 a tyre so the paradas should fall into that bracket. I'll have a word with my tyre guy.

There are no track tyres available in this 195/45 Rolling radius in 16's. You have to go to 15 as most tracktyres are 50 profile so 205/50 15 would be perfect.

I have looked hard and long and 16 inch they are all 205/50 (many options) and 195/50 (Toyo R888).

I have the only 205/45 track tyre with is the Kumho V70 and they are great...!!!!!!!!!!!

The group N clio has coilovers and on tarmac events runs the equivelant to 205/50 16's but there is no rubbing as the height is set a lot higher than yours. If you keep the same hight then 15's is the only real option.

BTW i have 4 part worn 205/50 15 pilot sport cups (aka M3 CSL) in my garage...!

Will probably get some 205/40/16 paradas or 195 PE2's. They'll be enough for my ability.
