im looking for some 40mm lowering springs for my mk2 clio, im looking to spend no more than £150 so if anybody can guide me in the right direction then that would be great

^don't think they make them for a 1.2
As it's a 1.2 you probably just want lows.
You can pick up some 2nd hand TA Technixx coilovers for about that price.
If not, Apex really...

I have apex springs and they are no way near as harsh as people make them out to be mate.
I didn't notice that much of a difference between standard.
If you come to a local(ish) meet, I dont mind giving you a ride to see how the springs are compared to standard etc.

tbh i was looking at apex anyway, as i looked on ktec for some, £150 pound for eibach ones, 45mm, wanted to see if i could find cheaper, yeahh a local(ish) one
