best bang for buck with 2.5k

hi guys i have 2.5k to spend on my clio or invest in another project. i have a ph1 172 with the following engine mods:

cda bmc
angelworks inlet
decat
ktr zaust
gp n ecu

i want to spend the cash on the engine only....

Get a motorbike.

Perosnally it would be throttle bodies for me for the noise.

2.5k should run to a cams package, with a decat and exhaust. I wouldnt bother with the cda or the group n (you will get a remap in the package).

hmmm so for 2.5k im really only looking at around 15-25hp increase?

for 1.8k i can turbo my v6 mondeo and take it to at least 350hp with a stage 2 kit from the states. i was just seeing what car i should keep at my weekend toy and what car for everyday use, i guess its the clio thats gonna be used everyday now!

FWD and 350bhp seems a bit pointless to me.

Why dont you strip the interior out of the clio stick a couple of bucket seats in it and put some coilovers on.

Rather then wheelspin and torque steer you will have one of the best handling front drive cars you can get. Keep the mondeo as a comfortable cruiser to use in the week.

as above, strip, spend a chunk on coilovers and brakes

i already have coils and 310mm brakes on the clio, handles pretty good lol, some good ideas though keep em coming!

oh and if i did go ahead with the mondy it would have and lsd and uprated clutch
