best clio deal ever*

just thought id see if anyone else is getting good deals on clio 172s? is paid £12107 for a brand new 53 reg clio 172 (not cup) MKII ESP, cat1 thatcham fitted + six cd changer under drivers seat in icebersilver. Also can with 1yrs road tax, maufacturers warranty and europlates + full de waxing and vallete. i tink thats quite good considering on the renault website they list £16000 - 16500 including the extras i got. The only thing i miss is the satnav, but i work 4.5 miles away from home! so dont really need it. Is this the single best price anyone has ever had.... i think so (note the guy who did the deal for me left said company about two days later!!)

Im getting a 172 (not cup) with ESP and cruise control AND its being supaguarded for £11600 I just wont have the 6disc changer which im glad as it wouldve been a waste anyway when i put my mp3 player in

This is with 22% friends and family discount though!

12,600 with options of multi CD and pre telephone equipment. Saving against 15K on renault website. I dont know where 16000 to 16500 is coming from though !!!

£15000 sorry, just though that with the options it would come to this. £16500 does sound a bit daft. you guys have some great deals, its nice to know that next time i buy a renualt that i can get loads off the list price. I could never afford list price of the megane rs (i just know thats gonna be about £17000) but with greats deals about i mite be able to get one for £14500.

I would guess 16,500 would be the list price for the clio if you also included sat nav.

thats is the best price ever, currently motor provider are the cheapest standard 172 11850 with ESP, no alarm though, 299, cd changer 220, total 12369, yours is a tremendous price!!

Hmmm.... Picked mine up friday, cruise control is so much fun, I got mine from a reno dealer so paid more that the prices you guys are stating but nowhere near £15K.

I didnt think Motorpoint cars came with alarm and CD changer???

I went with a broker as my local dealers were giving a discount but were still £1000 short. Makes you wonder how much profit they make.

they dont but they would sell me the car without a cat1 so thats was fitted by them incluse of the price i mentioned and the cd changer is not in the Gash place is normally is, thankfully its under the drivers seat so i can change if im in traffic without looking like a have a single changer and reaching into glove box. The changer was a £325 option thrown in!! so all in all in chuffed. But im very concerned about what everyone has said about build quality. mine seems (touch carbon) to be very well put together no rattles, but im certainly takin it easy just in case. Il be selling it in two years and considerin its kept in the garage and i do 4.5 miles to work on a morn it should only have low-ish milege. I hope to get about £6000-£7000 is that resonable.
