Rich Car 106 GTi Jul 30, 2007 #2 You don't really want to start off the the best cutting compound on a cutting pad. Start mild and build up to harsh compounds and pads if you need them. I would look into the Menzerna Final Finish(s) on Polishing pads stepping up to Menzerna Intensive Polish on a cutting pad if needed.

Rich Car 106 GTi Jul 30, 2007 #5 The Megs Pads seem better suited to Rotary use. On my own car mostly DAS pads. Most other jobs Sonus SFX Cutting, polishing and finishing pads, Menzerna Polishing Pads and Lake Country Glazing Pads.

Rich Car 106 GTi Jul 30, 2007 #8 The Poorboys are by far the easist to master, the gloss and finish the Menzerna Final Finishes get surpasses that of them though.
