Best Deals around on MK2 V6

Hi.. soz if this has already been covered, I cant find the thread if it has.

Please advise on the best UK dealers to purchase a MK2 V6 from? I just had a quote of £27,100 from Lookers (Chelmsford). You may already know, but they also mentioned as from April 1st there are some new colours out!! Including a mad (3 way) changing Yellow flip-paint...(£2000 Option!) and a Metallic Luna Grey... A bronze (that changes to a nice gold at night when lights bounce off of it) Also, there are new interior packs that include full leather and logod up V6 seats.. and lots of otha sweet stuff!

I could have sworn someone mentioned a far better deal than this from somewhere? Wasnt planning on the upgrade to the MK2 till approx August... but its very tempting. I wanted to find out now.. as the waiting list might take a fair old while.

I got mine for £25000 from a Renault dealer. And only had to wait two weeks.

Which was nice.

i rang Renault in Nottingham this morning about trading in my Cup for one, the balance to pay was too much, so as always its better to sell private and buy with cash

.. sure would be pretty handy to know someone at Renault for the 22% discount, but not that lucky... any offers?

The yellow doesnt look too good in that pic.

How do you rate the depreciation of the MK2 over the next year? Renault arent proposing to bring out a MK3 V6 in the near future r they?!

Haggle enough and you may find a salesmen who wants the deal bad enough who will offer the F&F discount, I have heard about this happening.

agreed about selling private... once the deposits down though..u still have time to sell private.. and if that fails.. it may be the last option to trade in.

Use Lloyds TSB car select, last time I looked they were selling brand new Mk2 V6s for £24500. These are UK cars delivered from a UK dealer, just purchased through Lloyds TSB carselect.

Yup, that was with carselect, still good though, at £24600.

Mine was a RenaultSport car destined for a hard life as ademo machine. When my dealer put the order in, Renault alerted them to this one. Fresh out of the factory, but with no private owner. So as soon as it was fitted with tracker and PIDd it was mine.

And Ive driven it three times in three months:mad:. The joys of a 70 hour working week.

Its not out of choice believe me.:(

A few runs on the moors and a weekend break up to the lakes, and thats it. 587 miles in 4 month. Just remembered I got it in January, thats even worse.:sick:

You drive your V6 as much as I drive my 172 - since Jan 20th 2002 I have now done 6668 miles! :) Same as Kathy has done in a very short time!! ;)

Had a quote from Lloyds TSB. inc id. paint plus full leather pack £26,991.00 ( saving £5k ):eek:



PS.

Does anyone know if the real id. colours are shown on cars in the brochure? Do we have to order a car and hope its OK ?
