Best Decat for 182?

Silly question... What is a decat? I'm guessing its replacing the Catalytic Converter with some thing that is'nt? What are the pro's & con's?

GDI decat all the way. Never heard of anyone going into limp mode from having a decat.... It might chuck up the emissions light but it seems to vary from car to car,mine hasn't come on in 2 months. Frees the revs by a considerable amount and makes a nice raspy noise.

Well, the car must be running pretty lean with a decat so even if your light isn't on, i wouldn't be suprised if its doing slow damage to the engine...
