hi all recently got myself a 182 but not drove it yet due to being banned for dd

does ne1 know any decent an cheap insurance companies
im 21 n have 3 years no claims but quite a few convictions :

sp30-3pts-05/2007 (expired but still need to declare)
sp30-5pts-10/2008
dr10-banned-09/2010

has any1 got any suggestions lol thanks

there will be ones out there for defo. i know a lad at work thats 30, got 12 points and narrowly missed being banned earlier this year and his R reg 1.25 fiesta costs him £1300 and hes got sheet loads of NCB

Got 9 nine points in 2007 im 23 and have a 172 and my insurance is £2300 a year with no ncd and thats only thirdparty fire and theft, alot wouldnt touch me so good luck mate

My cheapest i have found tpft is £1800 which is suppose is reasonable considering my convictions

Yea i had a quote at £1800 but when i phoned them up to take the policy out they said they couldnt do that price and it wasing going to be £2500, they soon got told!!!!!

I will just have to look around probs try some dd specialist or something as i have the certificate from the course i attended lol

Rang adrian flux there prices are very good £ 2170 fully comp my cheapest anywhere else is £3300,

does anyone think any other insuarnce companies will beat that ?

Try Master Cover, there are insurance companies such as this specifically for DD related offences.

Both quinn and master cover will not provide me with an online quote so will have to try on monday

Master cover say they will beat your best quote by 10% but you have to be able to prove all the details are exactly the same. Be careful though as depending on who they insure you with there are cancellation policies which mean if you have to cancel the policy mid term they bum you.

I used Adrian Flux nearly 10 years ago for a drink drive ban and it worked out cheaper than when i didnt have a ban.I no longer have to declare it and it finally comes of my license in October,cant wait and never again.
