Never heard of them either mate. Looks a little like the Newsdemon page so maybe they're linked in some way.

You could always try them for a month.

The more I dig around, the more I'm convinced that £7pcm for unlimited 101 day retention at usenetserver is actually darn good value. Shame they were having some technical problems and a load of incompletes just around the time of the LOST finale! :D

  A blue one.
astraweb and easynews are the best I've ever used.

I've been continually signed up to easynews for six years now. Web based interface, auto unrar, par, thumbnail etc. No pissing around with nntp headers and all that crap.

20Gb a month or so but unused quota rolls over and accumulates for ever. $9.99 so just over £5 a month.

Try: http://maximumusenet.com/

They are around the cheapest with high retention. £3.85 GBP for 25Gig/Month.
They are very fast but do sometimes slow down at peak times. For that kind of money tho, who can complain.

Also, for a free alternative to NewsLeecher, you can try Alt.Binz - Its freeware and is pretty damn good! It supports SSL, Auto Unrar/PARing etc :) http://www.altbinz.com/

I recently switched to Giganews. Although they are very good with excellent connection speeds I do not think I can justify spending nearly £16 p/month on what is only a small improvement over Newshosting. Having said that the conneection does include SSL.
