Best oil for a 1.2 16v help !!!

My car is in for its service soon, and i was told buy my cousin, who is work shop manger at bridges Reno, that if i buy my own oil it will be cheaper so what do i go for Fully or semi and what make is best any help or what have people used would be good,

you can get it from renault for £25+vat for a 4 litre tub. i put it in mine and have no complaints, however any 5w40 fully sythetic will do the trick.

Not peein on you middo but i got 5 litres for £23 from reno lol
