What is the best oil to use for a Clio Williams 2 ??????

Also can you still get parts for these cars, like gear knob????

I use Castrol GTX Magnetec 10W/40 in my valver.

i personally think maganatec is poo, i use the same grade in my valver and ill never use it again,

not many on here like it either !

for whatever reason a lot of people on here have used Magnatec and then there engine has become noisy, my own car included

personally id stay away

id go with Silkolene myself......

BRUN reccomended Silkolene to me on my last service and its made a notible difference to the sound of the engine - sounds a lot smoother!

yes i use mobil 1 i think its good in as much as its oily!...how can one tell how good an oil is?...all i know is that every pro mechanic i have spoken to says its good

I use Mobile 1 fully synthetic 0W40 in my 172, it seems to warm up a bit quicker and sounded smoother. But I had the oil changed after 1200 miles and Ive still only done about 3800. So I dont know if it suits an older engine.

I am using mobil1 15w50 in my valver at the min. Top stuff!
