I'm in need of some New Front Pads after my Evening at Snetterton and don't have the Funds for New Disks, Lines and Pads right now so was just seeing what people recommend to use on OE Disks,

Thanks
Andy

it would be ferodo DS2500 pads

its DS2000 for decent rd use
DS2500 for hard road use / occ track day
DS3000 competition spec pad

or you could look at something like a carbon loraine or possibly EBC redstuff pads? (havent heard much on these)

Get some HC discs for around 55 quid for the pair.

What pads did you have on at Snett or have you got a standard set up?

Everything was Std and it did OK just think I could be better with more trust and less fade in my Brakes

Goodridge hoses around 50quid, HC discs around 50 quid, half decent pads 40-50 quid, about 100 quid to fit unless you DIY.

HAPPY DAYS.

Even braided hoses with a standard set up will improve brake fade.

Yeah think that is the kind of direction I will be going.... make a Setup myself and would DIY it so to save money :)

HC Disks
Ferodo or Pagid Pads
Goodridge Hoses
Brake Fluid??

Just had that fitted today (hc discs & ferodo pads) - from the few miles iv done they feel brilliant, think the braided hoses make an immense difference. Only £45+vat to fit.

Well I'll be getting that once I have cleared other debts and paid for my Holiday than saved up again

I have pagid blues on standard discs with HEL braided hoses.

I hardly have to apply pressure to brake and I cant imagine what it will be like going round the ring, I do know there will be sparks as the carbon pads eat the discs under heavy braking. lol

right, ive been looking for HC's at a decent price for ages, most place seem to be £70+ inc. delivery. Anyone know a cheep place to get them?

Sorry for the thread steal but it is on topic

GSF stock them, not normaly shown on their website. Pop into your local branch.

My local one stocks Genuine Renault rear discs too, at a lower cost than the dealer. just for referance.
