Best place for Williams tuning

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo

In a few weeks I will have enough cash to treat myself to Headwork and fast road cams on my Williams, but the question is where do I go for the work? Also I could stretch to a unichip or similar but is it worth the (600 pounds) money? Hillpower/ BB / K-tec seems to be the main choices, GDI?? Everywhere charges around 1500-600 pounds for this and for this amount of cash I want to make sure I get my moneys worth! Anyone had work done at the above places? Opinions ?

Thanks

BenR will do you a good price for head work which might save a bit of cash but otherwise youll have to pay for decient work unfortunatly.

A unichip or the like is well worth it after all you will only want more power later on so might as well get an upgradable chip which can be remaed to take advantage of your mods than an of the shelf chip for a ~£250 less. After all spednign the extra on the chip and custom maps will get you more gaisn than £250 thrown at the engine on cams IMO especialy if your cars moded with other things ie exhaust IK.

Talk to BenR about the headwork, he will also have some recommendations on which ECU to use (better than Unichip, half the cost!) and which tuner to set it all up when youre ready.

Someone on here called bondy sells cams.

It can be done for quite a bit less than the £1600+ quoted elsewhere, if you do it this way..

Excuse me!

  williams and trophy

its the mappin time/costs that are the most frightening part of gettin it set up right tho.......the ecus are cheap in comparison to the r/r setup costs in my investigations....altho gdis are priced fully mapped i think, which is a bargain if it is cos ive bin quoted a grand jus for r/r time

Sorry Ben didnt mean to say it like that. Im usless at typing. I meant to say you do good quality work cheap but to get the same quality work youll have to pay much more, other cheap people just do a poor job.

Thats the problem typing after a long day at work I make tye one ting and think another. Please dont take it as any insultas none was meant.

I wish I could use the excuse of english not being my first language.
