personally id go with the 16v idea for a year & then get a williams, especially as you mentioned in another post you have no ncd, how long have you been driving any way ?
Remember a 16v is group 12 & from memory the williams is about grp 17,

I wanted a 16v, but, if ya intending on getting a Williams, I dont see the point.. by the time youve lost money on the 16v, and then bought a Williams, you might aswell have just bought a Williams in the first place.
The insurance can be an issue.. last year (I was 20) a Valver was pretty much 1/2 the price to insure! (A lot more people quoted me on a 16v than a Williams.. )
Hang it, iv just read another thread of you slating the original willy so why would you wanna know where the best place to buy one would be??
Dan_mk1 im just 20 and have been fine for the past 10mths in my valver, i rekon aslong as your safe and respect the car it doesnt matter how old you are!!!
Thats the same boat i was in so he would be able to insure a Willy but the cheapest for me was £1700 which was only £400 more than the Valver so not too much in it really!!!
